IGES Utilities from WiZ WORX (2004-08-05) README.1ST The file WIZTOOLZ.ZIP is a PKZIP archive for the WiZ WORX IGES Utilites: IGESPEEK™, IGESDRAW™, IGESXTRACT™, IGESTIDY™, and IGESMERGE™. Both MS-DOS and WINDOWS executables are include. **NOTE** This release also includes Linux executables of these utilities. Previous distributions used self-extracting archives and a SETUP.EXE, but experience has shown that today's Internet surfer uses Win9x and has WinZIP, so this distribution uses only ZIP files. You must first create a directory call WIZ-WORX somewhere on your hard drive ... you will be extracting the files into that directory. (If you don't know how to do that, you should not be attempting to use the software included here. :-) To install from WIN9x, select the disk from the Windows Explorer, and double click the file WIZTOOLZ.ZIP. Some of these files are included in the new IGES Version 5.3 under slightly different names, e.g., ENT22201.IGS appears on page 271 in Figure 103 labeled "F22201X.IGS". Most of these files can be displayed with the IGESDRAW™ package, but some cannot, e.g., SURF114.IGS and SURF128.IGS contain entity types (surfaces) that are not supported. Note that FIGA1.IGS will not display on most systems because it consists of a Network Subfigure Definition (320) but there is no instance (420) to reference it, hence there is nothing displayed after translation.
